Doug Franck practices in the areas of business and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance and general corporate counsel. Doug has significant experience in the representation of businesses in various industries – including IT, software, healthcare, manufacturing, food and beverage, and finance – in their formation and operation, as well as mergers, sales and acquisition activities, capital raising transactions and corporate governance issues. He represents venture capital and private equity funds in their formation and strategic investment transactions. Doug also has experience in representation of issuers in public and private asset-backed securitization transactions, and provides guidance on mortgage servicing arrangements and transactions involving the purchase and sale of mortgage loan pools and mortgage servicing rights (MSRs).

Sale of Stock of Sy.Med Development, Inc. to HealthStream, Inc. - Represented Sy.Med Developments, Inc., a provider of physician credentialing software to over 800 customers, in the sale of 100% of its issued and outstanding securities to HealthStream, Inc., a Nashville-based publicly traded company in the healthcare research and education industry.
