Greer Cummings was a partner before retiring at Bradley. His practice focused on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. This included the acquisition, financing, leasing, management and sale of real estate projects, with significant representation of German institutional investors, syndicators and individuals active in purchasing and financing investment-grade properties throughout the United States.

He is a former trustee of the St. George's Episcopal Church Endowment Fund and a former director of the Belle Meade Plantation, Nashville Chapter of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities. He served as a member of the Vestry of St. George's Episcopal Church and is a former director of the Nashville Bar Association, a former director of Recovery Residences of Nashville, Inc., a former director and secretary of the Cumberland Club of Nashville, a former director and secretary of the Belle Meade Country Club, and a former director and president of the Montgomery Bell Academy Alumni Association. He also served for many years as a volunteer in the United Way allocations process.
