Johanna Jumper knows what developers, landlords and tenants need to accomplish in all types of real estate transactions. Her experience includes real estate acquisitions, dispositions and refinancing; closing of new loans and loan assumptions; workouts and foreclosures; and retail, office and industrial leasing. She also has served equity investors in the purchase, reorganization and sale of distressed assets. In her leasing and development practices, Johanna negotiates agreements reflecting the diverse priorities of her clients, achieving a balance between competing interests and efficient timeframes required to bring deals together.
Johanna has significant transactional experience with medical office buildings and condominiums; hospitals, outpatient clinics and surgery centers; faith-based institutions; and leasing of real property assets within investor and music industry portfolios. Her leasing practice includes representation of landlords and tenants as medicine meets retail in the emerging “medtail” arena. Her understanding of Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute leasing applications makes her a valuable asset for healthcare systems and providers navigating complex acquisitions and joint ventures.
Johanna is an active member of the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and American Health Law Association (AHLA). She frequently presents on topics such as medical leasing, shopping center redevelopment, lease economics, and healthcare aspects of real estate transactions.
Johanna splits time between Bradley’s Nashville, Tennessee and Jackson, Mississippi offices and believes excellent client service can be provided from any location.
