Improving Diversity in the Legal Industry and the Role of Bias in Artificial Intelligence

George Medlock, Bradley's director of Inclusion & Diversity, will begin the presentation with an overview of the state of diversity in the legal industry, best practices for lawyers and companies, and how to improve the legal landscape for diverse attorneys. Then Bradley Cybersecurity & Privacy attorneys Erin Illman and Junaid Odubeko will lead a panel discussion on how technologies and big data can create bias. Discussion also will include how to examine the need for human oversight to monitor technologies and artificial intelligence to further prevent bias.
