New Horizons for Healthcare – New Frontiers for Fraud

Ms. Welch joined a panel of national healthcare regulatory attorneys to discuss new frontiers and enforcement initiatives in healthcare fraud.  Topics ranged from fraud investigations and prosecutions in cutting edge areas, including telehealth, remote patient monitoring, cybersecurity, and pandemic fraud.  The discussion focused on new theories and areas of interests as well as recommendations for compliance focus and developments within the enforcement agencies such as the Work Plan, modernization of Compliance Program Guidance, and significant recent Advisory Opinions trending in these areas of enforcement.
