Jonathan Skeeters Named Bradley’s Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board
Dawn Helms Sharff Named Birmingham Office Managing Partner
Bradley is pleased to announce that Jonathan M. Skeeters, a partner in the firm’s Nashville office, has been selected by the firm’s Board as the new chairman and managing partner. In addition, Dawn Helms Sharff, who has been serving as interim chair, was named Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Birmingham office.
The selection of Mr. Skeeters, who lives in Nashville, underscores Bradley’s growing national presence. Of the firm’s nine offices, the Nashville office is the second largest and located in one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. In addition, the firm continues to add attorneys across its footprint to meet clients’ needs.

Mr. Skeeters works with clients to implement their growth and development strategies by structuring, negotiating and closing complex business transactions. His experience includes advising publicly traded and privately held companies in the healthcare industry in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, securities and corporate finance matters, joint ventures, strategic alliances, syndications, and pre-merger antitrust issues. Mr. Skeeters previously served on the firm’s Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and Recruiting Committee.
Mr. Skeeters received his J.D., M.B.A. and B.A. from the University of Kentucky. He serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Adventure Science Center in Nashville.
Ms. Sharff also serves on Bradley’s Board of Directors and has held other firm leadership positions. She represents public companies, privately held entities and individuals in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including the buying, selling, leasing and developing of commercial real estate nationwide. Her commercial real estate practice includes representation of developers of projects nationwide, as well as large companies that own and/or lease real estate assets across the United States as a part of their business operations. Ms. Sharff also has broad experience representing both lenders and borrowers in commercial lending transactions, with a particular emphasis on transactions involving commercial real estate. She represents a number of financial institutions on syndicated and non-syndicated construction loans, interim and permanent loans, corporate revolvers and term loan facilities, subscription facilities and other commercial financing transactions.
Ms. Sharff received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and a B.S. from Birmingham-Southern College, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. She is a Board Member and past Board Chair of Girls Inc. of Central Alabama.
