Bradley is pleased to announce that John Howard has joined the firm’s Huntsville office as counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group.
“John brings more than 20 years of commercial transaction and financing experience to our team, and we are pleased to welcome him as we build on the broad range of services we provide to our clients,” said Bradley Huntsville Office Managing Partner Benjamin W. Hutton.
John’s practice is focused on commercial real estate and development, but he has substantial experience with a wide range of corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, environmental issues, condemnations, securities, risk management, commercial litigation, worker’s compensation, labor and employment law, franchise law, insurance issues, intellectual property, employee benefit plans, entity selection and formation, syndicated and mezzanine lending, and tax and accounting issues. He has served as lead counsel for large commercial transactions and financings regionally and nationally and advised boards of directors on a variety of corporate legal issues.
Prior to joining Bradley, John was a shareholder at a boutique business law firm and served as general counsel for a company that owned and operated over 200 nationally branded restaurant locations throughout the Southeast. He is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and earned his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.
Bradley’s Real Estate Practice Group is deeply embedded in the commercial real estate industry, serving every sector of the market, including office, multi-family, industrial, healthcare and medical, hospitality, and residential tract development, whether through acquisitions, financing, lending, leasing, construction, regulatory, tax, and other legal counsel, guidance or advice. The team handles complex, multimillion-dollar projects for large institutions, as well as routine transactions for clients whose primary interests are in real estate investment or development.
