Bradley’s Carmen Weite Selected to Birmingham Bar Association’s Future Leaders Forum
Bradley is pleased to announce that Carmen Weite has been selected to participate in the 2023 Birmingham Bar Association’s (BBA) Future Leaders Forum.
The annual BBA Future Leaders Forum, which runs for six months each year, is designed to prepare motivated attorneys who have been practicing between three to eight years to become leaders in the Birmingham community and the bar. Participants are selected through an application process focused on leadership experience, as well as community and bar activity.
An associate in Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group, Ms. Weite litigates a wide variety of civil and commercial disputes, including business torts, breach of contract, employment-related matters, environmental law, insurance coverage and product liability.
Ms. Weite is an active member of the BBA’s Young Lawyers Section, where she currently serves on the section’s executive committee and is vice president of public service. She is also a leader on various committees for the Defense Research Institute Young Lawyers Council and the James E. Horton Inn of Court. Ms. Weite earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where she served as a copy editor for the Cumberland Law Review. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
