Bradley Adds Craig Smith to Its Healthcare Practice in Atlanta
Bradley continues to grow its Atlanta office with the addition of Craig Smith as counsel in the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group.

Welch, who leads the firm’s healthcare practice in Atlanta. “He has especially deep experience in handling M&A, private equity, and joint ventures, as well as the complex financing and regulatory matters that regularly challenge the healthcare industry.”
Mr. Smith provides counsel in all types of transactional and business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, joint ventures, consolidations and reorganizations. He frequently works with for-profit and nonprofit hospitals and health systems, physician specialty practices, practice management companies, accountable care organizations, ambulatory surgery centers, and other providers to navigate the complex financial and regulatory issues that arise when executing deals in the highly regulated healthcare landscape. Mr. Smith has extensive experience in general commercial, governance and financing matters, including commercial lending, bond, private equity, and venture capital transactions, which enables him to work alongside Bradley’s clients to best address their unique transactional needs.
Mr. Smith is ranked in Chambers USA for Healthcare (2021-2023) and in The Best Lawyers in America® for Health Care Law (2009-2023). He received his J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Georgia Law School and his B.A. (magna cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
