Lina Machado Bejarano Named Recipient of 2024 Rising Star Award by Georgia Hispanic Bar Association

Bradley is pleased to announce that Lina Machado Bejarano has been named the recipient of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association’s (GHBA) 2024 Rising Star Award, presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the GHBA and Georgia Latino Community. Ms. Machado Bejarano was presented with the award at the GHBA Cocktails Around Latin America event on October 5.

Ms. Machado Bejarano is an associate in Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group who helps clients resolve disputes in court and through alternative dispute resolution channels. She regularly provides strategic assistance in a variety of civil matters. Her experience has included serving as a judicial law clerk and an attorney advisor before the United States Department of Justice through the Attorney General Honors Program. Ms. Machado Bejarano joined Bradley in May 2023 as part of the 20-lawyer team that launched the firm’s Atlanta office, which has now more than doubled in size to almost 50 attorneys.

An active member of the legal Latino community, Ms. Machado Bejarano regularly works to support the professional development of Latino law students. She serves on the board of the Georgia Latino Law Foundation (GLLF) and provides support to the organization’s Leadership Academy and Law Day. She is also the co-founder and co-director of the GLLF’s Judicial Internship Program, which began as a virtual internship program to provide opportunities for valuable professional experiences during the pandemic and has continued to provide meaningful summer work experiences for students across Georgia, offering both in-person and hybrid opportunities for students and judges across the state.

In 2024, Ms. Machado Bejarano was selected to the Georgia Super Lawyers list ofRising Stars.” She earned her J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law and her B.A. from Georgia State University.

The GHBA is a voluntary bar association dedicated to serving both the Hispanic community and the community at large, aiming to promote diversity in the legal profession and serve the community through programs that educate and connect members of the community.
