Bradley attorney Jack Harrington was featured in Law360 Pulse on Bradley’s new Financial Crime & Economic Sanctions team.
“I am thrilled to lead the financial crime and economic sanctions practice, adding to the firm's existing strategic depth across the banking and financial services sector,” Harrington told Law360 Pulse on Wednesday. “The firm's national client base and stellar reputation in consumer finance compliance and financial services regulation is one of the many reasons I joined Bradley.”
Harrington said that the team will feature approximately a dozen attorneys helping banks and financial services clients prepare for, prevent and respond to bad actors attempting to exploit the global financial system. He said the team will work closely with Bradley’s Government Enforcement and Investigations Practice Group.
“In the military, we have a term called ‘left of bang,’ which has to do with recognizing along a timeline the signs and indicators that precede a critical incident and taking proactive steps to prevent it,” Harrington said. “I am most excited about working with clients on the front-end to develop and refine financial crime compliance programs, analyze and mitigate institutional risk, and help them stay 'left of bang' when it comes to financial crime.”
