Bradley Attorney David Pugh Nominated for Engineer of the Year Award by UACES

Bradley attorney David Pugh has been nominated by the University of Alabama Capstone Engineering Society (UACES) as a candidate for the Engineer of the Year Award, which is presented annually by the Engineering Council of Birmingham (ECOB).

A member of Bradley’s Construction Practice Group, Mr. Pugh is serving as the 2025 chair of the Associated Builders and Contractors National Board of Directors and has significant experience representing owners, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, insurers, and sureties throughout the United States. He is also a registered patent attorney and has prosecuted a variety of mechanical, electrical, and chemical patents, as well as design patents and trademarks. Regularly listed in Chambers USA for Construction and in The Best Lawyers in America, Mr. Pugh received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and earned his B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Alabama.

ECOB is a 501(c) (6) nonprofit volunteer organization that coordinates the engineering efforts of member societies and educational organizations and is comprised of engineering, technology and education organizations in the central Alabama area.

The 66th Annual ECOB Engineering Awards Banquet will be held at The Harbert Center in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 18 during National Engineers Week.
