Charles Schneider Joins Bradley as Senior Advisor for Governmental Affairs and Economic Development

Bradley is pleased to announce that Charles Schneider has joined the firm’s Nashville office as a senior advisor in the Governmental Affairs and Economic Development practice groups.

Jacques. “His nuanced grasp of the Tennessee political environment and his policymaking and communications experience will be enormously beneficial, and we are pleased to add an advisor of his caliber to our team.”

David Stewart, chair of Bradley’s Governmental Affairs Practice Group, added, “Charles has more than 20 years of policy and political experience, which has provided him with a deep understanding of complex legislative issues and the regulatory landscape at the local, state and federal levels. His governmental affairs experience within Tennessee and throughout the Southeast will be of great value as we respond to client needs.”

Mr. Schneider previously served as the chief lobbyist for the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry and as the vice president of Public Policy for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, where he led the two organizations’ public policy initiatives. He also served as CEO of the Home Builders Association of Tennessee, worked as a legislative liaison for former Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, and worked for two members of the United States Congress. He served as the executive director of the Tennessee Republican Party and has managed numerous state and local political campaigns.

Mr. Schneider received his B.A. from Sewanee: The University of the South.
