Susan Doss is a retired partner who represented corporate, real estate and financial institution clients in a wide range of business transactions, with her primary focus on commercial lending and other financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counsel representations. She worked with publicly-traded and privately-held clients in many different industries.
Susan’s corporate finance and banking background and her experience structuring complex financing arrangements were frequently called into play with the firm’s clients. She regularly represented corporate borrowers in connection with the negotiation, structuring and closing of credit facilities of all types from commercial lenders.
Susan has extensive knowledge of the UCC, particularly Article 9 (Secured Transactions) and often worked on legal opinions on behalf of the firm’s clients in connection with their financings and other business transactions and as local counsel in connection with multi-state financings and acquisitions and divestitures.
Susan consults, as needed, with firm lawyers on legal matters for clients.
