Bradley Welcomes Shannon L. Drake as a Healthcare and Real Estate Partner in Atlanta

Bradley is pleased to announce that Shannon L. Drake has joined the firm’s Atlanta office as a partner in the Healthcare and Real Estate practice groups.

“Shannon’s deep industry knowledge and reputation as a significant player in the home healthcare and long-term care industry wholly aligns with our work for clients and Bradley’s nationally recognized, top-ranked practices in healthcare and real estate,” said Bradley Atlanta Office Managing Partner Sidney S. Welch. “He has extensive experience that will greatly enhance our ability to serve clients in these areas, and he will be a wonderful addition to our Atlanta office.”

As former chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Aveanna Health, a national provider of nurse staffing and durable medical equipment services, Mr. Drake has an extensive transactional background in both real estate and corporate matters in the long-term care context, as well as home health and hospice settings. He has managed major litigation, labor and employment legal analysis, government investigations, and outside counsel, and has negotiated, drafted and completed many multimillion-dollar acquisitions and divestitures of home health, hospice, therapy and private duty business lines.

Mr. Drake received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia (magna cum laude). Following law school, Mr. Drake was a Military Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a graduate of Leadership Cobb 2024, Cobb County’s leadership development and community enhancement program, and he is on the Board of Directors for Kidz2Leaders, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of incarceration by providing stability, opportunity, and a Christian community for children of inmates.
