Cyrus Chin represents clients across multiple industries in all phases of the business lifecycle, from corporate structuring and formation to daily operations and negotiating the acquisition and sale of businesses.
He works with private companies, private equity funds and their portfolio companies in connection with strategic investments, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, as well as on general corporate matters.
Cyrus also serves as outside general counsel in matters related to finance transactions and employee compensation, including profits interests and equity plans, as well as non-disclosure agreements, commercial contracts and employment agreements. He represents clients in raising capital through private offerings and debt transactions, including real estate funds, private equity funds and early- stage, start-up companies.
Cyrus regularly advises companies with respect to beneficial ownership reporting requirements and potential exemptions to reporting obligations under the Corporate Transparency Act.
