Woods won a 2008 Grammy Award as engineer of the Best Zydeco or Cajun Music Album, Beausoleil and Michael Doucet’s "Live at the 2008 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival," which was presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
