Chad Elder has more than 25 years of experience in a wide variety of complex and sophisticated business disputes, with an emphasis on antitrust and shareholder litigation. He has extensive experience litigating high-profile and bet-the-company matters, including securities fraud class actions, stockholder derivative claims, antitrust cases, and federal government investigations and proceedings. He has an unblemished record of success at trial, including one case in which the court wrote an opinion finding that the opposing party’s expert testimony “disintegrated” during Chad’s cross-examination.
Chad’s clients come from a wide range of businesses and industries, such as disruptive high-technology companies (including makers of high-performance electric vehicles, space rockets, and artificial intelligence systems), sports and entertainment companies, health systems, financial and venture funding firms, aviation companies, and other law firms. Chad also has represented individual investors, corporate directors, and celebrities, as well as served as a neutral mediator in complex business litigation.
Chad joined Bradley’s Nashville office in late 2019 after a 20-year career at a prestigious firm in Los Angeles. He is married to a Vanderbilt alum who convinced him to move to Nashville, and they are the proud parents of two children.
