Leigh Anne Hodge represents clients in the healthcare industry in regional and national engagements. As practice group leader for Bradley’s Litigation team, she regularly represents and counsels clients in the healthcare industry in product liability litigation, medical malpractice litigation, peer review and staff privileges matters, administrative hearings before licensure boards, ERISA litigation, Medicare Advantage plan litigation, managed care litigation, insurance disputes, and insurance fraud cases. She has tried cases in federal and state courts and has experience in arbitration venues. Most recently, she worked with a client and other national defense counsel to coordinate and manage a mass-tort product liability litigation that included over 12,000 cases nationwide. As in other mass-tort litigations, the primary challenge was to organize thousands of individual claims in a manageable number of venues to achieve orderly, efficient, and economical administration of similar claims.
Leigh Anne regularly represents healthcare providers in disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, and misappropriation of trade secrets. She also represents clients in disputes arising out of change in ownership of closely held businesses.
Leigh Anne has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for Product Liability Litigation Defense, Healthcare Law, ERISA Litigation, Employee Benefits, and Insurance Law, as well as Benchmark Litigation in its Alabama litigation section.
