Mike Moore advises clients in a variety of commercial finance and corporate matters. His commercial finance practice consists of representing agents, lenders, and investors in all types of commercial loan transactions, including syndications and large-scale, multi-state portfolio loans, mezzanine financing, participations, construction loans, real property acquisitions, and asset-based loans, as well as healthcare industry financing, refinancing and restructuring (with a focus on senior living, assisted living and independent living facilities). He also has assisted clients with REIT purchase, sale, leaseback and financing of raw land and improved assets.
In his corporate practice, Mike has experience representing clients across different industries in connection with private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures, including advising clients on general corporate governance matters.
Mike graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was a Chancellor’s Law Scholar and completed the Law and Business Certificate Concentration. In addition, he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and an Honor Council representative. During law school, he worked as an antitrust research assistant for Prof. Rebecca Haw Allensworth.
Mike earned his B.S. in Business Finance from Xavier University. During his time at Xavier, he played varsity baseball and was a member of Xavier’s 2014 Big East Conference Championship team.
