Jackson Parker is an associate in the firm’s Construction Practice Group. His practice includes representing construction clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation, as well as drafting construction contracts for all types of project delivery methods. Jackson also brings his unique background in the construction industry to provide project counseling and construction plan review.
Jackson grew up in the construction industry, working for his father’s earthwork subcontracting company from an early age. He continued in the industry to manage over $100 million in projects as a project engineer, owner’s representative, and assistant project manager at construction firms throughout the Southeast. These projects have included athletic, education, industrial, and multi-family facilities. Jackson incorporates this extensive industry background into his approach to each transaction and dispute.
Jackson earned a J.D. from Samford University Cumberland School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and was a member of the Air and Space Law Society. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Science from Mississippi State University.
