George Parker is a partner in Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group who represents clients in a variety of matters in both state and federal courts. His practice focuses on pharmaceutical and medical device, product liability, mass tort and class action matters. In his 25 years of practice, George has spent a significant portion of his career representing Fortune 500 pharmaceutical manufacturers and medical device companies in individual and mass tort actions as both national and local counsel in state and federal courts across the country. He has taken dozens of plaintiff, treating physician and expert depositions while serving on national and regional counsel teams in mass tort matters. In addition, he has served on Bradley E-Discovery teams overseeing document production in mass torts and nationwide litigation matters.
George has gained a wide range of general commercial litigation experience representing commercial real estate corporations, trucking companies, bus lines, insurance companies and their insureds, as well as financial and credit institutions in matters involving credit card fraud, garnishment liability, credit reporting and mortgage-related issues. He has represented electric cooperatives in class action lawsuits pending in Alabama state courts. He also defended toxic tort and asbestos matters for clients in various industries and has represented a restaurant chain in premises liability, product liability and employment matters. He has tried, arbitrated and mediated numerous cases for his clients.
George is active in national, state, and local bar organizations. He is a three-term former member of the Alabama State Bar Board of Bar Commissioners for the 15th Circuit (Montgomery, Alabama) and is a member of its Executive Committee. He also previously served as president of both the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section and the Montgomery County Young Lawyers Section.
