Erin Malone-Smolla is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice groups. Erin represents clients in bankruptcy, complex business litigation, commercial litigation, judgment enforcement and execution matters. She regularly practices in Tennessee bankruptcy courts, but also frequently handles cases in other federal and state courts.
Erin represents mortgage company and financial services clients with compliance matters, risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational implementation of legal guidelines. Such work includes assisting with large-scale remediation projects and advising on business practices within clients’ bankruptcy departments.
Erin is also dedicated to pro bono work, and in 2020 was recognized as an Attorney for Justice by the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Before joining Bradley, Erin was a judicial clerk for the Hon. Sherry R. Fallon of the U.S. District Court, District of Delaware, assisting with intellectual property and asbestos litigation. She graduated from Duke University School of Law, where she was managing editor of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law and Public Policy. She also earned a Master of Education degree from Lipscomb University and a B.A. in Political Science from Duke University.
