Maddie Spearman is an associate in Bradley’s Real Estate Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Long Term Care and Senior Housing team.

Maddie regularly represents clients in the sale and acquisition of senior living facilities. Her practice involves drafting purchase and sale agreements, completing due diligence, and preparing and finalizing closing documents. As part of her transactional work, Maddie often advises clients on regulatory matters such as securing and maintaining licensure, initiating changes of ownership, and compliance with relevant federal and state laws and regulations.

Maddie has extensive experience advising nonprofit clients on matters unique to tax-exempt organizations, including applications for tax-exempt status, supporting and supported organizations, tax-exempt bond financing, and various nonprofit corporate formation and governance issues.

Maddie attended the University of Texas School of Law, where she focused on health law and policy, entrepreneurship, and nonprofits. Prior to law school, Maddie worked as a health benefits consultant for a healthcare navigation company in Dallas.
