Meade Whitaker was a partner when he retired at Bradley. He focused his practice on commercial real estate, including the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of commercial real estate. He represented developers and owners of all types of commercial real estate projects. In addition, Meade represented lenders in the financing of such projects, as well as in the sale and disposition of special asset loans that are secured by real estate.
Meade regularly worked with the firm’s corporate and bankruptcy attorneys in handling the real estate aspects of major corporate acquisitions, sales and mergers, and corporate reorganizations, financings, restructurings and exit financings. He provided counsel on general business and commercial law matters and regularly rendered legal opinions in financing transactions. He had extensive prior experience in public finance, particularly industrial revenue bonds, and in healthcare law and construction law.
