Jessica Zurlo is a Senior Attorney in the Intellectual Property Practice Group, and her practice is focused on patent law and competitive practices litigation. She is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and assists foreign and domestic clients in patent preparation, prosecution, opinion work, and enforcement.
Jessica advises clients ranging from small start-ups to large public companies, as well as research and educational institutions. She advises U.S. and foreign-based clients across a wide spectrum of technologies, including in the chemical, biochemical, agricultural, pharmaceutical, and mechanical fields.
Jessica also has experience representing clients in post-grant proceedings, including inter partes review proceedings and ex parte re-examinations, as well as interferences before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
On the litigation front, Jessica has helped defend companies accused of patent infringement in district court and before the International Trade Commission. She has also assisted with appellate work before both the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Jessica’s litigation experience also includes representing builders and contractors in complex construction disputes.
