Bradley’s recent Southeast expansion into Georgia was covered in the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The firm opened a new office in Atlanta with over 20 attorneys as part of a move that has been a strategic priority for years
Jonathan Skeeters, Bradley chairman of the board and managing partner, said the firm had identified multiple markets to move into during strategic planning that took place roughly five or six years ago. Skeeters pointed out the firm already has established offices in Charlotte, Nashville and Tampa, which made Atlanta a natural next step. He expects the Atlanta office to boost the firm’s other nearby offices, where many of its attorneys already serve clients with business interests in Georgia.
Sidney Welch, former office managing partner of Akerman LLP, is one of the attorneys who joined Bradley in Atlanta.
"We are all energized to be a part of this team and to extend Bradley’s reputation for excellence into Atlanta with continued strategic growth in the months ahead,” she said.
Wayne Hillis, former managing partner of Parker Hudson Rainer & Dobbs LLP, is another of the attorneys who made the move to Bradley.
“Given the firm’s exceptional talent, reputation and favorable geographic footprint, Bradley is well positioned to quickly serve as a leading law firm in Atlanta,” he said.
Following a recent expansion in Tampa and a big move in Houston, the firm now has 11 offices and over 600 lawyers across its footprint.
